I'm looking for a myth! So I had an idea to post what I want and maybe someone would think of something I have not come across.

I wish I could find a stroller like the bumbleride but tandem.
Where I live the sidewalks are narrow and bumpy so tandem is ideal, but I could live without it if I can't find a tandem stroller I'm happy with

I want a double stroller with:
a car seat adapter
Both seats should recline fully or almost fully
A huge sunshade
BIG wheels
Easy to maneuver
Folds well into car
Full size but not too heavy to bump up or down a few steps
Big storage basket

Thanks ladies!
Not too wide

city mini fits your description, but that's not what I chose.

A tandem wouldn't work for steps so well. You have little control, and the space between the wheels wouldn't work for bumping.

City mini fits most of your description. It doesn't go up steps so well (although single steps are fine), and the carseat insert that they have, at least as of last year, is a pain.

Just fyi.

Mountain buggy double now has a big hood, lays flat, big basket, sturdy, folds easily, easy to wheel.

Peg Perego Duette is a great tandem stroller - you can have both kids face you, or face eachother, or face forward (but that's no fun!) It's narrow enough for Israeli sidewals and grocery store aisles. I love mine, but here's your list...

a car seat adapter - you can snap in 2 carseats if needed!
Both seats should recline fully or almost fully - both seats lay flat
A huge sunshade - sunshade goes down all the way to the waist bar
BIG wheels - huge wheels
Easy to maneuver - you can steer with one hand, it's got a steering wheel
Folds well into car - Nooooooo! Not unless you have an SUV
Full size but not too heavy to bump up or down a few steps - Bumpable down a few steps, but very heavy
Big storage basket - pretty big basket

You can watch the babygizmo video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQs0NcKjPlI

We don't have a car and also I got one slightly used for a good price.... and I don't mind that it's heavy. I live in Jerusalem and am always going up and down hills, but I prefer this stroller (with big wheels and easy steering) to my small umbrella stroller which has small wheels and doesn't steer well.... much harder to push.

I own the city mini and HATE it - It has tiny wheels, doesnt do steps and the carseat adapter is horrible - It doesnt sit up fully
Own Mt Buggy and it fits in my tiny honda accord with all the wheels on - large basket great carseat adapter and I love it - not as heavy as it looks but so much more sturdier - pm me for info

I have the City select. It's the third double I bought, and I would never have bought anything else if I had known about it (it didn't exist when I got the first two).
You can check it out on youtube, it's amazing. Single or double, bassinet/carseat/full size seat...etc.
