I don't do high-maintenance kids clothing. DS is 17 months old and SUPER active.

On Shabbos, there is no eruv, and especially in the winter when it's cold, I just let DS stay in his pjs all day. I have special "Shabbos PJs" that are light blue or grey, but they are inexpensive and machine washable.

Now that the chag is coming up, and DS is already walking around, I feel like I need clothes for him for the day meals at least. Or at least for the day meals we're going out for (Shabbos chol hamoed and last 2 days). I want to stay low-maintenance, but still be mechubadik for yontif.

I remember my little brothers used to wear white cotton polo shirts with black or navy slacks on Shabbos, but I can't find any long-sleeve polos in my toddler's size, and it's still too cold to wear short sleeves.

Any suggestions?

That was size 18 months. If DS is already in 24 months, here is the link:

Wow! That's perfect!

I was at a Target store earlier this week, and they only had short sleeves... should've thought to look online where more "wintery" clothes would be clearance...

some days, DS can go through 3 changes of clothing, so I'm slightly dreading having to buy at least 3 outfits to last just for a 2-day yontif -- if I'm lucky!

I think black or navy pants (nothing super fancy, just not cargo pants or jeans) with a white polo are nice, with a cute sweater vest for when he's in the stroller and can't get dirty. Smile

But I'll need at least 3 pairs of pants and half a dozen shirts... God bless my little messmaker.

I consider these a bit pricey for a little boy but:
