For most of my kitchen I just use water and soap and it works great.
For the bathroom I use chemicals which I'm not so happy about but I can live with that and it does make my life a lot easier.
My main problems are washing the floor, the oven and the stove top.
Especially the oven that I actually put food into I can't bring myself to use chemical cleaning agents on. So by now my oven is in a pretty bad state and I'd love to hear some ideas for natural homemade solutions for some heavy duty dirt (oven and stove top) and something for the floor.
What has worked for you?
TIA

Vinegar to clean and wash many surfaces.
Salt to scrub.
Baking soda is also good for cleaning and scrubbing.
Oil and vinegar for wood. (I know you didn't ask for that but I threw it in.)

thank you both
I have in the past tried mixing vinegar, baking soda and lemon juice but it didn't really do much more than the soap.

Here are some more suggestions, perhaps one will help? Though I don't know about mixing lemon juice and bleach!

for oven I use baking soda/water and I also add to it tub n tile from melaluca but it works without that too. and I scrub it with a steel wool. I cover the bottom of oven with baking soda and spritz it up with water/soap then let it sit for 30min + and then scrub it with a wet steel wool.

a good tip in keeping the oven clean is always having the bottom coverd with baking soda so any spills will not burn or eat in.

good luck Smile
