I'm learning photography and just got a job for this week to do upsheren pictures (not of the party, just the little boy). I realized I have no idea as to what poses are generally done for this!
The photos will be taken outside, not in a studio setting.
Please please respond with whatever ideas you have, I have to do this sometime before Thursday!

with aleph bina or torah, with the kappel, with a fan blowing at the hair, some 'casual' shots with regular clothes,
check out some photographers on fb and see what they do

I would also advise to check out other frum photographers so you have an idea what to offer. It also depends on the taste of the parents- do they want more casual, more formal, candid? I have seen upsherin pics that had nothing to do with Torah objects- just gorgeous candid before and after pictures.

I love it when Upsherin pics incorporate the whole Tree theme. So maybe sitting under a tree? climbing a tree? hugging a tree?
Or if he has really long hair and you want something dynamic where you can see it, you can have the little boy run around or jump up and down or just get a picture from the back...
