My 6 yr old picks his nose as a norm. It's driving me insane.
I know you'll tell me many kids do it, but I'm so so nauseated.
I cannot touch him, let alone hug him.

It is so disgusting and I need some help please! Puke

Thanks, but that's something I've tried countless times and it apparently isn't working.

hankies are gross too ... but maybe having one in his pocket will be helpful or those little tissue packs

also every morning I wash my nose out ... or I couldn't breath ... maybe try helping him do that

My little one chronically picks his nose as well.
He can forever be seen with two fingers up his nostrils (yes, a lovely image).
My mother recommended dabbing a q-tip in some Vaseline and swabbing the lower end of the inside of his nose.
It might relieve some of the dryness and diminish the picking.
Alternatively, you can try putting something icky smelling (garlic??) on his fingers and perhaps that will influence his penchant to pick.

When he does it he needs to stop what he is doing and go scrub his hand with soap. Forget disgusting, it spreads germs everywhere. Eventually the handwashing may annoy him enough that he stops.

That's exactly what I try to do. But he's really starting to hate me! Can I just hope that he grows out of this?

You can hope, I'm not sure that is effective. Does he have allergies or a cold or is it more compulsive?

A cold. Throughout the winter basically.
