I just made this recipe: Gooey Almond Cookies from Kosher Scoop. After combining the ingredients the batter was a very think liquid, nothing that could be shaped into cookies. I'm sure one of the measurements is wrong. Anyone have any idea?

If definitely looks like a liquid batter from the ingredients.
Did you try spooning some in circles onto a cookie sheet and baking to see what the outcome is?

No, because of the wording of the recipe about making the cookies the final shape -- that didn't seem possible with a liquid batter. Maybe I should have done that.

Where did you find KLP coconut flour? What brand?

No, I added more almond flour until it looked like a reasonable consistency and then baked it -- it (obviously) took much longer than the recipe said and it tasted awful (bitter).

I bought the Lieber's ground coconut and then put it through the food processor until it was the right texture.

That could be the problem. I was wondering if I could do that and use it as coconut flour and from what I found online the answer was no because coconut flour is de-fatted so it just doesn't work the same.

Could be. It did look like coconut flour though.
