The chicken wings I'll be serving with it will be sweet sour (or they will when I find a recipe for it!) so I need something savoury for this. Suggestions? I don't want to unroll and stuff, just want to cook as is if possible.

You can go Italian, first coat with flour with salt and pepper. Brown/sear in a small amount of oil,
then smother in chopped tomato, generous sprinkling of Italian spices like oregano and dry white wine.
Braise over low heat till soft, either stove-top or in the oven (covered)
If you don't want something with tomato, you can just coat with seasoned flour and mustards (grainy or
English), then brown and braise as above. Veal is traditionally cooked in dry white wine, rather than red wine (used for beef and lamb).
