I'm a sahm who works part time in the evenings and Sundays. I take any little job that comes my way, ie substitute teaching and I run a side business. Dh works full time. We live simply and get no parental support. Up until now we have been ok but now it's time to send our second kid to school. I was really looking forward to staying home with ds #3 this yr, but it looks like with tuition I won't be able to.
I'm so sad about it. I dont even know where to look for a job. I mainly work with kids and teach. I've run art camps and my part time job is working with special need children.
I don't know whee I would send ds. Also my older 2 get out of school at 1, so they would need someone to watch them too. ...
I just feel overwhelmed by this

expand the side business? that would be my vote if you've got young kids and want to be home with them.

Can you babysit?
You'd be home when the others get home.
Or if you babysit in someone's house, you could have your kids (bus??) come to that location?
Hatzlocho.

I've done babysitting and it ended up being not my thing. Not good for my kids. ..
I would love to expand the business but I don't have the money to invest in it.
The school needs to know now if we are sending ds and as of now I can't afford it. I live oot so there is only one school. They offered a small scholarship but we still can't afford it

If you teach art at the school, can that get you a discount?
You are obviously an experienced educator.
To expand your business, is there a money gemach? It might not have to be physically located in your area.
