my 5 year old son had diarrhea this shabbos, I'm assuming it was a typical stomach virus associated with pain and diarrhea, however, later in the day I noticed a little blood in the toilet bowl accompanied with his diarrhea. I'm a littlel concerned about this, I dont know what it could be. is it possible its coming from being sore in that area? do I need to ask my dr? please share if you ever had this experience.
TIA!

Beware! This could be shigella. Pls take him to Dr asap for testing and make sure he washes his hands well with antibacterial soap after using the bathroom. I would advise you to spray Lysol on the toilet/seat after each use so it doesn't spread.
