Is it ok to use just egg whites--no yolks--when following a challah recipe? Do you have an egg-whites-only challah recipe?
Thank you!

I think egg whites would make it tough. I put one whole egg in 6 lb of flour, but I sometimes make without eggs at all for a vegan challah. Google/search this site for water challah.
I posted my recipe in this thread.
Essentially, you can replace the eggs in any recipe with an equivilent 1/4 cup liquid (water and/or oil)

Water Challah can be delicious. If the yolks are a problem, no need to use eggs altogether.
This one is good: http://www.thekosherchannel.co......html
Also The BY cookbook has Reb. Kanievsky's recipe which is similar, but I think sweeter.
Or if you want a smaller recipe, this is good:
10 cups flour
3 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp dry yeast
2 Tbsp kosher salt
1/3 cup oil
