Every so often, my sheitel rides up in the back. Does anyone recommend putting in a comb in the back to prevent this from happening? For some reason, my sheitel macher didn't recommend this. She said adding to many combs and clips are not good. I'm not sure why. Does anyone have a comb in the back? Does it help prevent the sheitel from riding up? Thanks in advance for your responses.

Is this a new wig?

I ask because that doesnt sound normal, it sounds like the cap is too small and if someone who knows what their doing sold you a cap that was too small I would go and ask them to rectify the problem.

The other thing could be that your hair underneath is too much and causing it to ride up.

The clip will help, it may cause the cap to stretch and therefore create gaps in the hair. Clips in general are uncomfortable and pull out your hair so in that sense I wouldnt recommend

Sometimes it can be caused by the cap being stretched out. It could happen over time. If that's the case, a new tighter 'elastic' can be inserted.
