Hello bumping this up since we have tons of milk from school lunches. I’ve tried giving it away. What can I make for Shavuos with the milk? Thank you!!!

You can make farmer cheese. I got instructions a few days ago. Let me know if you're interested and I'll post.

Just used up about 3/4 of a 2 quart bottle of milk to make pudding. 3 boxes of powdered pudding mix (not instant) and 6 cups milk.

I got the recipe from a friend but didn't try it yet

3 bottles of milk
3 teaspoons salt
Cook on high flame. When boils shut the flame. Add 1.5 cups lemon juice. You'll right away see that it starts to curdle. Let it cool off. Them put in a cheese cloth or similar. Let the fluid drain for 3 to 4 hours, either by hanging over the sink or in a strainer. Should come out to about 2 lbs farmer cheese.
My mom said she wants to try it out today, so if you wanna wait for the results I can let you know a little later.

You can do ice cream in a bag. Bonus: fun activity to do with kids. Google for recipes. I assume low fat ice cream would work too.

Haven't made it in years. South African recipe called milk tart. Basically a custard type pudding in a pastry shell.

You could make yogurt

Just wondering why WIC is giving you low-fat/fat free milk? Aren't babies supposed to drink full fat milk?

WIC is for Women, Infants and Children. Children over 2 and women should drink lowfat or fat free. Full fat is for babies older than 1 and younger than 2.

Sorry I can't get the recipe now, but it's cooking cooked noodles and cheese with milk, covered.

Oh, and did I say cheese sauce before? Melt marg or oil, stir in butter and seasonings, milk, and stir constantly till thickens, melt in cheese, toss with cooked noodles? For amounts, this recipe is everywhere.

Ok I got an update about the farmer cheese. It came out delicious! Looks exactly like the farmer cheese you buy in the store. You can use for cheesecake as well. Maybe I would add drop more salt, but I think you can add as you eat. Enjoy!
