I saw some recipe like this in eithwr Bina or Mishpacha magazine, but can't find it now. Did anyonemake it/can post recipe? It had noodles, coleslaw mix, and maybe ground meat?

That mixture goes into an egg roll? Interesting...

If I am remembering right, you didn't stuff it into an eggroll wrapper. It was more like an egg-roll type filling mixed with the noodles, and you were supposed to serve it with pieces of fried wrapper. I jsut can't find the recipe anymore :-(

I saw it last week but not sure which issue it was in. I asked her but she threw out her whole stack of magazines!

I made it and it was delicious!
8 oz fettuccini cooked and drained
1/3lb chopped meat ( I used a pound)
10oz package of coleslaw mix
( I added 1 onion sautéed)
5Tbs soy sauce
3 tbs duck sauce
I cube garlic
1/4 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp pepper
2 squirts of hot sauce
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp chicken soup mix
3 tbs chopped scallions
3-4 egg roll wrappers fried and cracked for garnish
( sauté onion in oil) add the coleslaw mix and when starting to wilt add the meat and brown. Add the rest of ingredients besides scallions and cook until liquid evaporates. Add noodles and scallions and optional egg roll wrappers. Enjoy!

Sounds really good! Do you think it would be good with pieces of pastrami instead of chopped meat so it would be more egg roll like?

Did you try it? I'm curious to know how it comes out with pastrami. I made it with the ground meat and it was so yummy!

This sounds so good.do you serve it as a first course or a main? Would you call this a Chinese food? I'm making one meal Chinese and was going to make egg rolls but then sounds much easier.
