What food did you get for MM that you enjoyed receiving? Was it homemade or bought? Did you eat in on Purim or put it away for another time?
Please keep this positive. There are other threads where you can post what you did not like getting.

I love getting salads and rolls. Yes I've eaten them on Purim day.

A cake that can go on the table for the seuda is always appreciated.
Once we got a pizza and a bottle of juice. That made for a fun early lunch for the kids.
Anything that is an actual food that does not have to be consumed on the spot. Whole fruit, wrapped chocolate bars, etc.
And, of course, a nice bottle of wine!

Bagel/roll and lox. Or a deli sandwich. We eat those on the spot.

Pareve chocolates that can be served after a shabbos meal always get eaten. Milk chocolates are good too. (decent quality preferred)
wine or grape juice also gets used.
I think we've eaten most of the mm we've received. Someone gave us a can of soda once that we don't like and it just sat around for ages.
Real food would be great.

we received nuts and parev chocolate on a small hamantash shaped glass plate, and a full size bottle of sweet wine for the purim seuda. The dish was put away at the end to have for the next year purim.

Real food is always welcome, everyone's so busy running around that we forget to eat (or just eat junk). Good chocolate and candied nuts are also excellent.

Well, I like homemade MM, not store bought.
Real food, as in not candy or junk- actual food.
More specific than that?
I dunno.
I guess, sandwiches, salads, soups, muffins, anything yummy.

I really appreciate anything in a sealed package, with a clear hecksher, or fresh fruit in the peel.
I try to do the same for others, because I never know where people are holding. It just makes life easier.

Real food. If home made, please label what it was prepared in/with (milch, parve, fleish) and indicate any common allergens (ie. nuts, soy etc.) it is not glaringly obvious.

Nothing homemade.
Store-bought and in its original wrapper/container.
We *love* snack bags; the kids get to eat things we don't always buy for them to take to school. They raid the shalach manos and put the nosh directly into their backpacks!

A sectioned platter of real salads, ie. potato salad, beet salad, and other 2 I don't remember what type but super fresh and mamash tasted home-made. The lady made 2 versions: a more neutral one for ashkenazim and spicier and hotter one for sefaradim.
Bagel and small cream cheese, along with a paper cup and coffee packet.
Roll with tuna salad and some dip (maybe techina? don't remember) on the side.
Homemade cheesecake given by a fitness instructor no less )))
DH doesn't care for milchigs, and kids were too busy with nosh, so the cheesecake was all mine.
Roll, apple and tuna or some other salad
Roll and about 4 sephardi dips, like eggplant, babaganoush type: DH ate this as breakfast after shul
Chocolate, cookies and muffins can be saved for Shushan Purim etc, extends the feeling of Purim further into the week.
Danish and a bottle of chocolate milk, or orange juice
Small kugel or crumb cake was good
These were good to eat in the car while delivering shalach manos
The following are good only if I know exactly kashrus level of the family who sends it, and hold similarly.
Otherwise, they unfortunately will be wasted: fresh salads with lettuce or other greens, fresh herbs, certain fruits, garlic. Anything baked could be a problem in case recipients keep yoshon. Cholov Yisroel obviously too.
So basically, cooked food or chocolate from those I know well, and packaged stuff from those I don't.
