You can clearly tell from the accent and the English spoken that she is Chassidish, not Yeshivish.

Ladies, ladies. It is Erev Purim, almost, and you're taking this seriously?
This was a very well executed way to get people interested in Oorah's auction. You think nobody there is capable of writing a script and using language and intonation that sound authentic? C'mon!
OTOH, maybe it is real. Sure, why not? I have a problem with those sheitels myself, though I haven't called them to complain, especially since every organization is putting out the same pictures. The difference is that my DH would not look at the brochure, even if I told him it's 100% kosher. (But I'm not going to tell you DH's feelings about the matter since I can't be anonymous.)

quietly would be if they didn't publicize it. if it is real, the woman is probably beside herself. she had a strong opinion and felt she had to express herself, whether you agree that she's right or not, it's still her right to express herself and no one has the right to publicize her voicemail. not saying I agree with her, especially that there were no faces, but I sincerely hope it's not real.

Was it confirmed to be real? It was produced by oorah, they wouldn't do it unless it was in mockery. And since it was in mockery, they'd be in a lot of hot water if they used an actual message from their machine. they are also famous for their spoofs and skits so why would this be any different?

I Also suspect it's purim shtik. On the other hand I think it makes chassidim look bad because that woman is talking in a chassidish accent and is saying something that some of us find pathetic.
