I have a closet in my apartment that is 9 feet high and about 38 inches wide. As of now there are no shelves or anything in there. I want to put in shelving, but I would really like to get input from someone who can help me maximize the space there in the most efficient and logical way. Who can help me with that?

There are companies that specialize in customized closets. They have background in space planning and professional organizing and they do the installation as well.

How do I find this?
Also, I ideally want to put in shelves/shelving unit that is freestanding and can be taken out, because we are renting and rather not spend money on making a closet that we cannot take with us. So I'm not sure a company that specializes in custom closets is right for us-I really just want the input from someone who knows about these things and can make recommendations about what makes the most sense for us.

So maybe work with a professional organizer who can suggest specific items from ikea based on sizing.
