a new hot water pump or urn!
Please tell me what you have if you recommend it.
Pumps keep braking - no?
I keep mine plugged in all the time so I need a really good one that doesn't get deposits or rust too fast.

Is the pump just not pumping, but everything else is fine?

well first the pump was barely working and then is started leaking all over the counter .... I've had it for 3 1/2 yrs and it was always plugged in so I guess it served its time.

You can try opening the cover, there is a rubber gasket in there that dries out. Replace it with a ring of glue gun. That should help the pump work for now.
(I never tried it myself, tried to find a new gasket and couldn't so I threw out the machine and then a few weeks later read this idea someplace.)

Don't have recommendations but would stick to those white pump ones as opposed to the metal one with the spout. I bought 2 of those and needed to return because it was pouring water all over after a week. I don't keep mine plugged in all week
Also a quick way to clean out the hard water build up, fill the urn with water add in a half container of citric acid (you can find that in the grocery by the spices) turn urn on and keep on overnight. Pour out the water the next day and wipe clean with a soft cloth, it should be sparkling clean inside

And only use bottled water. Not tap water. For longer life
