Im thinking about switching jobs and that would mean losing my family health insurance plan. Any idea what the range would be if we had to pay privately? We make enough that we wouldn't qualify for any discounts.

For this past year, we paid around approximately $1360 per month on Obamacare, plus copays. Family of 2, NJ. This coming year will be worse, with higher deductibles and copays and max out of pocket. It is killing us.

In NJ we paid this year approx 1300 month for family of 3. Went up to $2600 month for lower plan to stay with the same company so were switching plans to lower monthly premium that has higher deductible. Nothing really good out there any more cuz all companies lost a lot of money under Obama

You can go to the NY website and you will get an idea of what insurance costs st different levels of bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
When you buy insurance, you should use a good broker because there are so many variables.
