I think FF has the most intriguing, well-written content, but it's the shortest. That's what's stopping me from subscribing.

I like Mishpacha the best. I like the family first section but I also find that I read most of the articles in the main magazine. The Ami living is very good but I find there's not much to read in the main section.

I like the Mishpacha/ Family First. It's the most varied and has awesome recipes.

It has to do with the style you like to read.
Bina is very ladylike and right winged.
Ff is neutral
Ami is left winged with Exotic articles.
I prefer ff because its my style.

If you're looking for quality written pieces, a lot of variety for everyone in the family, interesting, informative topics and a neat, easy to follow layout, Mishpacha, hands down.
There's always something good to read in there.
If you want lighter material, the other two are a better bet. Depending on the week, you might find literally nothing that interests you.

Well said.
The thing is that Ami tries to present themselves left wing but their staff is right wing- and it definitely comes through when reading the magazine.

Personally, Mishpacha/FF.
Ami is a good read, people like it and I think if you were going to pair any of the 3, it would go with Mishpacha in offering news, editorials, a similar layout of main section, women's mag, kids' mag. But I have issues with it. We've had threads here, a few articles in particular that put me off buying it.
Binah's nice. They have some great serials. (Still waiting for EG's The Grey Lines to come out in book form for those of us who don't subscribe. Or is that our punishment?) But I'm not in NY, nor am I heimish, in which case I might enjoy it more, and it doesn't offer as much for the whole family. But there are some great and lovely columns there.
I should mention that there's also Yated and Hamodia. Hamodia's Inyan is very substantial and enjoyable.

Read a copy of each and see which is the most your type.
I like Ami the best
Then Mishpacha
And Binah is good for light readings....

They're in competition with Mispacha so they need a different spin on things.

I like the Ami best. I find it the most well-written and enjoyable to read. I like their features such as our days and Dina Neuman humourous back page.

Seriously?!? They are all the same!
They are all filled with depressing articles about illness and struggles, fattening recipes and diet tips, and annoyingly long serials that are WOW enough to keep you hooked but take too long to finish.
