I'm baking cupcakes. Started a recipe that needed 2 eggs but then switched to a different recipe which I didn't realize first does not need eggs. What do I do now?
(Am not dumping it. It's Bal tashchis and expensive ING.)

Why would you switch in the middle of baking?
I would just continue and see what happens there isn't much to do at this point unless you find a third recipe that has mostly similar ingredients?

It's done now. I only realized this recipe doesn't call for eggs after the entire batter was mixed.

What kind of cupcakes didn't need eggs?
I imagine it will be fine. Don't fill them as full as you would, might rise more than usual.

What was the rising agent in the cupcakes? I don't think the eggs will harm the taste, the texture MIGHT be off, but not in a terrible way. Again, don't fill all the way.
