I'm sitting in the ER since 11:30 this morning. More than six hours. My 11 yr old DS is sick and I'm so anxious to know what's wrong with him already. My behind hurts from sitting so much and I need someone to calm me and help me relax. Just a vent!!! Hope we get to go home soon!!!!

Unfortunately he had to be admitted. He is on IV antibiotics and pain killers. At least the part that we were really concerned about had been ruled out. We still don't have a diagnosis but we hope to have the results tomorrow. Sleeping in a sheitel and clothes is not fun☹️. I never dreamed we would be staying. I guess my DH will bring me my snood tomorrow some time. Thanks for the concern though. Makes me feel a bit better

It hasn't. We are going for more tests today. Looks like it's Rheumatic Fever and possibly Lyme Disease as well. I was just told I'll have to be in the hospital for Shabbos.

Wow. Did you ever spot a tick bite or rash on him ever? Or actual tick. Hope he recovers very soon

Baruch HaShem, he has shown improvement but between all his symptoms the doctors are a bit stumped as to the diagnosis. He is going to be having an MRI today and they will do more blood tests for them to come to a confirmed diagnosis. I myself am more calm, I think they are being thorough which I appreciate and the nurses have been really sweet. But we are still here and nobody mentioned discharge yet.
