this one needs time but it's heaven, just do other things while it rises.
2 pkg dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup warm water
let sit
7-8 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
3/4 cup oil
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 tsp salt
add yeast mixture
mix together (u can make a well wiht the dry ingrediants and add the wet in the middle)
adding the 8th cup of flour as needed.
let rise 2 hours, punch down
rise one more hour,
shape and rise for 30 min
egg challahs and bake at 350 for 40 minutes
makes 4 loaves.
Its heaven and light!

I see you add salt to the yeast mixture thought you never are suppose to do that. Also do you prefer dry yeast?
