Hi everyone!
I'm a really nice teacher and it goes without saying that my class takes a ton of advantage of me. Well since Friday I haven't been myself because im so upset about how things are going. I never imagined that id be the teacher thats torn apart.
I really need to begin showing them whos in charge but I dont want to be downright mean.
Any ideas??!

You really need to give more details. How exactly did you establish your relationship with the class. How old are the students? How are they taking advantage of you.
In general the answer is zero tolerance to anything. call parents, make your rules clear and consistently apply them. Never let anything go.
