Hi-
Looking for advice on the option of a loan modification as offered by our bank, as we are struggling to pay the mortgage.
We are 3 months behind. Is this an option we should consider? Should we talk to a professional before? They seem to need so many documentation and I don't know if this even the right way to go about it. We have credit card debt and they will want to look into that. I don't want to dig a deeper hole.
We are pretty desperate and I'm not sure where to turn so I hope I can get some direction here. Thank you.
