I work in a schl and a cpl of months ago they started paying late. And new yr started & then they more on track. But now they owe me for a whole month ( I get paid bi-monthly)
But since they started with they're financial hardships, my whole financial situation home went down hill. And we trying to stay a float, but literally....
My dh works, btwn the 2 of us we were generally ok. But now we stuck....
Wanted to get chicken today but butcher didn't let us put it in the account it's past due....
This is insane! WHAT DO I DO???

I hope you get paid (in theory) semi-monthly, not bi-monthly.
Does your school have a board with a president?

Yes meant to write semi-monthly
No they don't it's not such a big schl...
They wrote a long letter that they in tight spot & they working on it in few ways- fundraiser event....
But that's not helping me or my situition right now ....!!!

Are you able to borrow money from a gemach to cover that missing paycheck? You do have a payback plan. Once you receive your payroll check , cash it and pay the gemach back immediately for what you borrowed.

Try to complain the loudest. I worked for a school for a year and didn't get paid. The ones that complained the most did.
