I cannot afford to purchase a new winter coat...
This year I put on mine and it does not keep me warm anymore 
I have to get for my youngest, so there goes my winter coat fund..
any suggestions?

Would you consider resale? I have gotten down coats for my kids from resale shops. I just got a shearling leather coat for myself from a local organization that got a load of stuff from a donor. When there's no money sometimes it's the only way to go.

yeah I go to resale stores, I try.. Not much of that around here..

Yeah I had to dig out my long undies.. My daughter was like no fair!! I wanna do that too, I said so do it.. she was all excited..

I hear ya ... haven't got a coat in like 10 years ... sometimes it can be a pain ... now if I could only fit into my coat from way back when (at least it's not worn out)
