My dd has terrible eczema on her hands- she’s had it on and off for years. We’ve tried all the creams, she’s temporarily gone off dairy or wheat.. been to allergists. The only thing that works is steroids but only temporarily and it usually comes back quickly and sometimes worse than before. Her friend suggested acupuncture and said it helped her. I’m open to trying it but would like to hear if anyone has a good recommendation and/or good experience with this. Thanks

I’m in Brooklyn. Can you put me in touch with your sister in law? I’d be interested in hearing what helped her. If you pm me I can give you my number.

If her eczema keeps coming back worse after steroids, it might be steroid damage and not eczema at this point... I know this was discussed on the forums before, maybe someone mentioned the Skin Healing Gemach (am I remembering right?) which has information on recovering from that.

ETA: Possibly this email address TSWfighter@gmail.com - and poster NovelConcept knows more about it.

Disclaimer I don't have eczema but I have psoriasis. Both are autoimmune. Yiu should get educated on gut health, how to address the root causes. Paleo diet is best for restoring gut health. Permanently off gluten and dairy(how long was temporary - can take up to 6 months not just a few weeks for gluten to leave system) and add lots of gut healing foods like bone broth and fermented foods
