How much do you pay per pound of shemurah matzoh?

My husband just came back from the grocery store (in lkwd) with matzoh that cost $60 for a 2.5 lbs box. Is that regular price??!!
I never bought shemurah matzoh before, and this is a total shock.
It is whole wheat, if that makes a difference.

$30/lb regular flour hand matzo
$24/lb for shevarim (broken matzos)
Spelt, ww are more expensive.

How many pounds of matzoh have you needed for the entire pesach for your family? We are 2 adults and 3 kids (not babies.) Please note if you ate machine matzoh in addition to the shemurah matzoh.

We buy the Ukranian hand shmurah matzah. Usually $10-$15/lb. It's just fine for us. We go through A LOT of matzah though, like 20-30lb.

Do you know where machine shmura is available in North NJ? We don't buy hand matza because of the cost.

We bought 3 lbs of hand shmurah for 27/lb this year. There were cheaper options here (not by a ton) but as we don't buy a lot we decided to go for the one we really prefer. We are two adults and a few kids ten and under. We use the hand shmurah for the sedarim and use machine shmurah the rest of the time.

Bingos has advertised $11.99/lb. I don't know if they have anymore.
We are very makpid on gebrochts so we only eat enough for hamotzi and on chol hamoed we almost don't eat at all.
If you plan on making matza sandwiches and knaidlach, you need to calculate more.
We do 1lb/person.
