For experiences vegetarians (or vegans)
what are some very simple, practical cookbooks or websites that you find the most helpful.
Being mindful that elaborate ingredients, or produce that needs special checking for bugs will not be so helpful to me.
Thank you

I make up my own recipes. Would you like some?
Can this be the official vegan recipe thread? Everyone, add what you can!

Detoxinista is a good website.
I just made a yummy vegan alfredo sauce tonight! I didn't measure anything but basically I sauteed minced onions in olive oil, added minced garlic, and two cubes frozen basil. Then added a couple Tbsp nutritional yeast and broth. Simmer and whisk in flour to desired consistency, to thicken the sauce. Add sea salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper and more nutritional yeast to taste. Serve over noodles.

Any of you doing 'forks over knives' ? Basically, plant based ( not necessarily vegan, ie honey) and NO oil? Im trying it, but its hard with no oil. Especially jewish food. Their website is ok. Chocolate covered katie is vegan deserts that are yummy. Id love some advice if any of you have!
