We are thinking of letting DS17 get a driving permit. I don’t think I can teach him how to drive I’m too scared. He’s the oldest. I need advice. Has anyone used a good company in queens or 5 towns?

Do you want to edit your post to include Queens/5T?
Hatzlacha.
FYI there might be a delay in getting his permit, so you can breathe a little longer.

Hi,
You need to have your permit first, in order to take the lessons.
In order to get the permit you need to pass a written test about driving safety and local laws.
He can study for that, pass the test (taken at DMV) and then you can start worrying about the actual lessons needed to learn how to drive, take and pass the road test, and ultimately get his license.
Good luck to both of you!

He’s ready to take the permit test and we can soon in our county. That part is not what I’m afraid of the road driving is.
