My son is 4 in kindergarten and I called his teacher to catch up and make sure everything was going well. She wasnt able to speak then but mentioned we should talk later about some difficulties hes been having. I'm having such anxiety over it I had difficulty learning and I dont want him to go through the same! And what if he has something like ADD or ADHD? What if his not knowing aleph beis so well becomes serious learning difficulties and then that causes other issues like behavioral? I might be overreacting but I'm so nervous and feel like crying for him I dont know exactly what the issues are but I can guess a little and I'm so nervous and sad

I can feel your nervousness! You are the PERFECT parent to understand your child's struggles, and to help him succeed! Daven, then listen carefully to what the teacher says. Depending on what challenges are described, talk to your pediatrician and/or to the Child Find team. Remember Hashem is on your team! Take a breath, make yourself a hot drink, immerse yourself in Shabbos, and know You Can Do Whatever Needs To Be Done!
