Is there such thing as a low risk yet profit yielding investment of a million dollars so that there should be accessible dividends every year? If yes, what percentage is realistic?

Low risk generally means low returns. Safety costs money. You can buy municipal bonds or CDs and be guaranteed 1% a year (that's $10,000 on a million) . You can put it in an index fund that mimics the stick market as a whole and take your chances. Generally you can assume 4%, but some years will give you much more and some years you will lose money.
