I have a top that has see through sleeves and would love to wear it without a tshirt underneath.
The rest of it, all has a lining sewn in.
Its also see through at the back a bit, just under the neck bit.
Its a patterned top, so not really noticeable but the sleeves are quite baggy so you can see the outline of my arms through it.
Any suggestions what to do to it please?

Can you line the sleeves/have the dressmaker sew in fitted sleeves from another garment?
What color is the top? Would you want to wear a sheerish shell underneath and together it won't be sheer?

What sort of material would I need for lining?
is it a big job?

Get a shell or t-shirt and have the tailor sew in just the sleeves

Find a thin shell that looks good underneath. Then have the dressmaker remove the sleeves from the shell and sew them into your top.
