The Detroit FC seems amazing. I love their art studio and cafe, and I heard they’re doing a bakery too? So many great options for SN adults to be busy and fulfilled. I live in the midwest but very oot. I would love to start a similar program (esp the art studio) here but have no experience starting a nonprofit. I’m an intervention specialist and see such a need for these type of post-transition programs. Do you have great SN adult programs where you live? How do they get funded in your city and who runs them? is it something someone could start with no money and no connections??

There are similar types of programs run by friendship circles in other locations. I heard of one that has a bakery, another has a monthly restaurant, and one that I happen to know the directors pretty well is a high end thrift shop called ZAB's Place. All these are staffed by young adults with special needs.
I'd suggest reaching out to any of the shluchim who run these programs with your questions. I'm sure they would be happy to advise.
Here's the contact info for ZAB's Place in case you'd like to get in touch with them: https://zabsplace.org/contact/

Soul Cafe is amazing. Reach out to Levi and Bassie Shemtov and maybe ask? They’re the (very inspiring) inspiration behind it all.
