I was thinking of changing my sn, and I wanted to know if you had problems with my switching my sn.
I sorta decided that I dont like that every post of mine reflects what the general breslov outlook is on stuff, even though I'm not typical breslov, and I'm not completely breslov either.
So the first sn I'm thinking of is:
RUGangels. Its got a kuntz like Gamzu's, but you gotta know me to know what the kuntz is.
Do people hate that name? Tell me, honestly.
Or
Brashlag
Or
mixNmatch
Or
Seraph
Or
Bishem Hashem
Or
Lishem Shamayim
Vote please.
Or should I really not change my sn?

although we got used to your "breslov" - the only one of your choices I would consider is "RUGangels"
but if you can think up more names ... I'll check them out too ...

Please keep Breslov!
I like it.
It catches my attention, is easy to remember and has a nice ring to it.

I actually like breslov, though I understand why you want to change it. I like one word sns that can be pronounced and are not mommyof97 or all those letters and numbers that mix me up.

nah, nah, nah, nah, I know why.

It's a bit weird, but I guess I'll manage.
Won't you have the same problem as with breslov?
Boring...

Don't you think these are the same problem as being breslov, but only more so? Bishem Hashem sounds a bit like you're a neviah and will all your posts be so, if you're lsheim shamayim?

You once suggested BSimcha - what about that?

Next thing you know you're deciding to change it? I love Uriel's name, so I suppose by this time next week he'll be George or Billy?

Or should I really not change my sn? | Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. Stick with Breslov. Thanks for asking.
One more thing -- mixNmatch? Sounds like the cheesy name of a clothing outlet that carries really unattractive stuff. noNno.

I have honestly NEVER thought that your SN reflects all the views of Breslov Chassidus. I always just felt you identified yourself with it. why change? I really like it, to toss my two cents in--take it or leave it .

The only change I vote for is to capitalize the B.
But then again, I have a thing for proper capitalization....

Breslov, please don't change your name. It's fine the way it is (and nobody thinks your opinions represent those of the Chassidut by that name).

I really hope you don't change it as I am so easily confused these days as it is...
Changing a sn makes me picture a rebellious teenager who refuses to be called their given name and demands to be called Raven or Spider or Sunshine or Air... You will always be Breslov to me no matter what phase you're going through.
Okay, maybe I'm jealous as I didn't put much thought into my sn and now I wish I'd went with something mysterious or maybe Bernice...
