I only remember the stacked red and purple. I don't either recognize that packaging.

They first came stacked on top of each other, 5 in a pack. Then they redid the packaging to 4 per pack, side by side. They both tasted the same. If I remember correctly, both also came in green, though the grocery didn't always have the green and always had the pink ones.

Ahhh, the days of the cherry ones… Five in a pack.

Forget about fillings, they could pull out teeth!

They were awesome.

Nothing ever like it.

And yes, why in the world no more Nougat Roll?!?

A nutty chewy nougat bar with the perfect texture of crunchy nuts and soft chewy filling.
Came in beige shiny wrapping if I remember right. These stuff were so delicious I really can’t understand why they’d discontinue an item like that.
I’d love to see a picture of that and of the original stacked chew chew pack!

Now & laters which don’t have a hechsher are the same as chew chews. Maybe someone can petition for them to get a hechsher?

That's an open individual sweet wrapper.
They looked like this in the early 90's as well.

I'm going to look for nutty chews tomorrow, take a pic and post here if I find. I'm pretty sure we still have them. I can start a business and ship them to your US!
