I want to make it shorter for the Seder with an elderly parent. Are there any paragraphs that aren’t a must, so it will be quicker?

We read through the hagaddahs is about 45 mins last year. The trick is not stopping for everyone to day 5 things by each paragraph.

Also, day it whatever language you understand so you don't have to translate

For the future- we also read it pretty quickly, without rushing. We saved divrei Torah for the meal.

I don't have a copy, but the army puts out a haggada with an abridged magid for soldiers on active duty. Maybe before next Pesach,. someone can post it.

Only the one leading the seder should say everything. Since I was up and down with the kids and food I read quickly through the pesukim and pesach, matza u’marror. Obviously I joined for dayeinu!
There is an EMT abridged haggada posted on yeshiva world.
