If you didn’t rush like crazy and you and your family enjoyed and sang and had a nice time then it’s fine.
I thought we were early and ended about 1:30

Were most of the kids sleeping?
Did you do dvar Torah or singing at all?
Did you start earlier than 9?
We had a Seder with 3 adults, not much singing or explanation, and finished it at midnight

When we're home we usually finish about 11:30- 12, I don't love it but it's ok. I wish dh would have a bit more patience & feeling towards the seder but there's nothing I can do about it.

Not at all crazy. The Seder isn't a competitive sport.

When we're home without company for the sedarim we also finish really early. We create a Seder that is focused on our kids and their needs, their ability to stay focused and engaged. At that point at night, way past their bedtimes, way past my bedtime, shorter is better.

Family of 7, mostly teen boys. Finished around 11 both nights. Not rushed but we don’t waste time. Love it!

I guess it depends when you started. Did everyone enjoy?
We began late both nights and had many guests so we ended around 2am. I feel sick today from all the late nights.
I remember being embarrassed when I was a kid that we finished at 12 and all my friends would brag that they finished hours later.
When you get older you realize that it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that everyone is happy.

Sounds perfect. We are also a family of 6 oldest is almost 9. We finished late only because we spent an hour on the couch after eating the matzah and marror after 2 cups of wine. Couldn't move.

This isn’t at all about a competition. I just wonder if there’s something more we should be doing. We don’t rush, we go at a normal pace but unless the kids speak up on their own we don’t do a lot of divrei torah. My husband gets the kids involved at all the opportune times- ma nishtana, makos, etc. he also sings whenever there’s a song. We just don’t drag anything out.
