For my 16 month old that climbs all over everything
I do have the space not sure about the money though

For those that have a pikler triangle, does it stop your baby from climbing other things?
My 10 month old is all over the place. I don't really have space for something like this but if it means I don't have to chase him up the stairs and out of the bathroom as often it might be worth it.

my son loves his!! you cant expect a toddler not to climb but if you have this you have where to redirect them to. its a big help in my household

A 16 month old would probably need a larger pikler. Depends on their size.
