I didn't live there but stayed there for a few times in the Summer at family. Does Martin's lingerie shop still exist?

Pushups! That delicious ice cream that you would push up on a stick. Wish I could find those now.

I doubt anyone managed to get gowns from Losners- they were extremely immodest and provocative, right on display in central Stamford Hill!![/quote]
I got my wedding gown from losners
It was quite low at both the front and back, but they added material in and it was very well done that noone could tell.
This was in the early 90s

I must be really old because in my time there was no Beis Chinuch. I remember Beis Malkah just starting. Everyone went to YHS or Satmer.

I went to Lubavitch which has been there a very long time. Although we prob didn't hang out much with Satmar girls, maybe a little with YHS girls. (I remember some YHS girls coming to wednesday club in Lubavitch).

I remember Bais Shammai, I think one of my classmates went there.

Everest ice lollies came in pink and orange, maybe white too. Kind of a sorbet texture. they were in a pyramid shape with a wooden stick in it. Pareve.
