Hubby is doing it for the first time, and just did 100 miles! I’m very proud!
But not sure if I should go to the finish line tomorrow…
Anyone going?

My husband did it for the first time too! I plan on going to the finish line, but you need a parking pass to get in.

My DH has been doing it for a number of years . He started 10 years ago.
I don’t drive so I can’t meet him at the finish line though one year I spent the first evening with him for dinner since it was at a local hotel. Now it was way too far.

It just makes me sad , because one of the Camp Simcha campers had asked my DH to ride with his father who was DH’s chavrusa at the time . That’s how DH got into it and that boy is no longer with us. So it’s bittersweet for me. Happy that DH is doing something for a special cause and I know how much it means to the campers , but so sad that the boy that convinced DH to do it , didn’t get to see that 10 years later DH is still doing it .

I have to print the parking pass? Or showing it on my phone is good enough?

It was amazing…
Such spirit and unity!

Whoever was there I guess we unknowingly crossed paths!
Btw They never asked for the parking pass..

I watched the live stream. 2 of my boys went and surprised my DH and my MIL went too, to shep nachas. Yes, it’s that spirit and unity that draws DH to go back year after year .

I then had the pleasure of washing all that sweaty and smelly cycling gear . Lol.

Can someone please explain what the point of biking for bike for Chai is? Is it the same concept as the hundred rider?

It's a fundraiser. Every rider has to raise a certain amount of money.
