My one year old generally does two. Sometimes skips his second if I didn’t catch that yawn in time and then he gets overtired. But he really does need that second nap.

Most babies transition to an afternoon nap only.

I work with toddlers-each kid needs a different naptime and length of nap, so its hard to determine..

Again depends on the kid. My just turned 2 year old is starting to drop it. There are kids in my 4 year olds class who still take a serious nap every day

Three of my kids kept the second nap until age 2. Two dropped it closer to age 1.

Every kid is different. And the amount of time they nap is different. In theory 1-2 hours is a normal range. But some kids sleep less than that. And some (I had one of these) sleep for hours until you wake them up. As long as it's working for you and your child, it doesn't really matter what other kids do.

FTR, none of my kids were in daycare/babysitting. If they were, they might not have kept the nap for as long.
