One year I took it because I was nursing, and ended up severely dehydrated and vomited all day and ended up on an iv after Yom Kippur.
I found out years later that there’s a lot of caffeine in it and I wonder if that’s what caused the dehydration because I’m not a coffee drinker or anything like that. But who knows. I wouldn’t ever take it again. But there are people that swear by it. Just noting my experience.

Did you take the regular one? There is a specific one for nursing, maybe that’s what you should have taken? (The blue ones) There is a warning on the regular one for pregnant and breastfeeding women to check with their doc before taking.
I looked up the plant extract components and some including ‏Scutellaria lateriflora had side effects like liver damage, convulsions, irregular heartbeat, etc. wondering if anyone else also had issues with the regular Kali tzom tablets? (Searched for previous threads, didn’t get an answer)
Btw these are the components for anyone who is wondering:

It makes a *huge huge* difference for me! I've used liquid and tablets and all versions (once bought for lactating women or pregnant in error)
All of them are good for me.

It's still hard to fast but when I don't take it the fast is even harder and I then regret it, so I know it's helping and continue to take it.

Usually I take the liquid type (without caffeine). Not sure which brand.

What are the ingredients?
Caffeine is likely not good if you're not a coffee drinker

There's a new version out there this year, especially for coffee drinkers. In B&D stores.
