Same I just chose the youngest option.
Was noticeably gray by my early twenties and started dying my hair at that point.

One white hair can just be a hormonal thing. Doesn't mean anything necessarily.

I started getting a few gray hairs in my late 20s. It was a bit of a shock at first, but I've kinda embraced them now!

I don't think it's all genetic. I think it's truly stress-related (maybe in combination with genetics). I noticed my first few when I had a HORRIBLY stressful job in my early twenties. Neither of my parents went gray by then. My mom is one of three sisters. One wasn't gray yet in her 40s, maybe even later- the one without children!

I saw a white hair at 17 years old, and let me tell you, now at 38, I"m still about only 1%-2% gray. Hardly noticable from far (I cover my hair anyway but...) so how young you see your first gray is not necessarily an indicator of anything.

My mothers hair is still mostly black (in her 70's)
my hair is silver on top - in my 40's - I had a lot more tzaar gidul banim than she did

At that age it’s usually a vitamin deficiency

Dh has ONE white hair ever since we met/got married at 18.
Now at 32 he's got another 2 lol.
Dd at 10 also has ONE white hair.
I don't know. I shave and don't exactly inspect my shaven head in the mirror.
Lighter blondes go white faster. Darker hair tends to go grey first then white.
Not always but usually.
