My son didn't (he's not marriageable age yet) but a boy from my community did this. But he was learning in Israel for a few years before. He formally made Aliyah after getting married.

Used to be you made Aliyah and saved your rights for when you were ready to use them- buy a car buy appliances etc
Also can apply via a his obligations to army etc
Look into current specifics
Ask the yeshiva
Mazel Tov!

I met my husband in Israel and we both made Aliyah. Not exactly from Israel but we were both living there at the time if I can help with anything.

I married an Israeli and made Aliyah straight away, I was given alot of money and great benefits but I knew I will be living here hopefully forever.
My bil who grew up in Israel as a Israeli resident only made Aliyah once he was over a certain age and with children so it didn't cause any problems with the Army. I don't think it gave him anything besides becoming a citizen.

The Army is something you will have to check into but if it doesn't cause a problem the amount of money he will get will definitely help a young couple
