My apartment has been invaded by tiny bugs with a great sense of presence.
They come out during the night hours only after the house is quiet.
If I am in my room for a while at night and then come out I see them crawling and they run away as soon as they see me.
I took a picture of one, just in case someone here can help me with advice how to get rid of them.

Thank you

If you post the picture folks might be able to advise you. They don't necessarily have to be entomologists or exterminators.

Don’t think so, they don’t grow too big.
If it’s a roach what am I supposed to do?

Search your App Store, there are a lot of free apps that allow you to upload a picture and they’ll identify the bug (which you can then google how to get rid of). I use one app for insects and another for flowers/weeds and they’ve been very helpful!

How big is it? If it's only about 1/16-1/8 inch, it could be a bedbug. Has anyone in the family experienced tiny little pinprick bites on their body, usually in groups of three? Do you see the bugs on or near the beds? Do you see tiny little black spots like ink on the bed or the bedding?

Keep everything really clean, put food away, keep open packages in fridge, and put out traps or call an exterminator. Or call landlord if you have one.

I’d google what’s an effective German roach killer and order it on Amazon on time for tomorrow hopefully!

Definitely a cockroach. Boric acid is great and relatively safe, but it doesn’t work right away.

Hi, German cockroaches are very difficult to get rid of. They multiply quickly and they get everywhere. I know bc I get infestations from my uostairs neighbors 🤢 I would call an exterminator and ask for gel and IGR spray. It’s worth the money and take care of it quickly

Forgot to say discard cardboard boxes immediately bc they live in them. Put all your food in plastic containers including cereal. Seal all food containers and throw out your garbage every night. Don’t leave food out
