What's a good place in the tri state area to take a 4 year old boy for a full day outing on a Sunday?

Scootering and eating out simple. Then perhaps getting a toy. My favorite kind of day outing- spending day together talking and laughing.
Aquarium, museum, airport to watch planes, car dealership (not sure how much the dealers will like that, but the 4 year old sure will)

WADR, please do not take a toddler to a car dealership as a form of entertainment.

American Dream Mall. they have painting ceramics (they mail it home to you), ice skating (they have something you can push him while you skate), there's a toys4u there. Pallisades mall, woodbridge mall - most of these places have kid friendly activites. all indoors. Ikea is another idea, in elizabeth nj, the eating area inside is a viewing point where you watch the airplanes land.

What does full day mean? At that age if it’s a sensory overload type of place like a jungle gym or mall he will be done at max 2 hours. So if you really want to spend a long time go for a more low key place, which is hard to find indoors and it’s going to be frigid. But you can go to a pizza store for lunch afterwards which will take another hour or so.
