What kind of desserts can I bring to a simcha that travel well?
Unfortunately for me, it seems that actual cakes and cookies are taken care of.
Anything I can think of that isn't an actual cake or cookie, doesn't travel well.
Anyone have any ideas?

I just traveled with mini mousse cups. I used a thick recipe and put the final whip on at the place of the Simcha but if packed well it would have been fine even with the top.

Ok sorry I think I need to clarify- this is for a shabbos kallah.
Level of fancy? I'm not sure because I'm not from that community but I think somewhat fancy.
If it was local I could do individual things but it would be very challenging to pack properly and keep from getting jostled in the car. How can I pack things?
The regular cakes and cookies the mother is making.

I don’t mean to derail the thread, but do you mind sharing the recipe and technique for the mousse cups?

I think the most practical would be to buy a nice tray and some nuts/candy/chocolate/dried fruit
And plate it there

Babka twists/straws
You can do 2 versions, a chocolate or cinnamon one and a strawberry/jam filled one
Either bring a short vase to stand them up in, or if you want to plate individually just bring/buy a tub of ice cream to serve with
