She started a few weeks ago and she’s really not doing a good job. How do I nicely tell her not to come back anymore?
I can text her I just have no idea what to say

Simplest is just to say you can no longer afford it.

You can also say your schedule changes and you no longer need help.

I wouldn’t want an ayin hara.
I would say something more like “thank you so much. It turns out that I am not going to need your help at this time. If anything changes I will let you know. Thanks again.”

(You don’t need her help because you will have someone else)

Can you not give her feedback? Hi I noticed when you clean you do it like x I enjoy y. Could you do it more like that and make sure you fully do the whole area. I am looking for deep clean level not surface area. These tools and these products can help you. Let me know if you have any questions. It would mean a lot for you to follow these standards so I can be happy with your work. I appreciate your time to doing things differently then you normally would

How would it be an ayin hara to say you cannot afford it? Your not flaunting wealth, just the opposite

I recently gave up my help. She doesn't understand English so we only communicate via text/Google translate.
I told her something like this "thank you for your help, you did a wonderful job. My schedule has changed & I won't need help on Wednesday's anymore. I'd be happy to refer you to friends. Good luck"

Did you train her in?
If she has a pleasant personality, you might want to spend a day showing her what you expect of her from each room, show her where things belong and ask if there are any products she needs to clean that you don't already have.

Sometimes it’s really not worth the extra energy spent on training them in. By some ladies you can just see that their not as good as others from the get-go and it’s time to cut your losses

I don’t see why it’s okay to lie (I can’t afford it, my old lady is back, my schedule changed…)
I would just say I don’t need your help at this time. Thanks and good luck
