Hi I'm working on my bachelors degree now with the hope of landing a job in the social work field. I don't know if at this point in my life I can continue with my Masters degree but I would love to start working in the field. Do you think I can take some courses and start with that? I'd love to work with kids. Suggestions please! And if you know of any courses out there - please let me know!

No I'd love to do something with children. Like play therapy, even animal therapy, or maybe something like social emotional help for children

But that's for non mainstream children. What I want is dealing with mainstream kids with social or emotional problems

You need to be a licensed therapist to do play therapy or animal therapy.

You really need to be properly licensed to do this.

But there are many people who are unlicensed and have taken many courses and are constantly supervised. No?

They are only unlicensed during internships as part of a program. It's not an option if you're not working towards becoming licensed.

You can do HCBS, and provide CFASS services. You only need a high school diploma to start level 1, along with some related experience, and if you want to do level 2, which comes with a higher pay rate, you need a BA at minimum.
